We have about 55 KAURI wood chip packs left and we'd rather give them out than throw them away. The kauri wood chip colors are about 10% lighter than mahogany. Therefore, when judging the difference in kauri and mahogany, you have to consider the color +10%. Mahogany is a denser, slightly red, and a heavier wood than kauri.
Please understand the packs you will receive are KAURI - a wood we do not use anymore in production. The only species we currently use is mahogany. We are out of the mahogany chips.
The packs will take about 7 days to arrive.
Each Sample Wood Pack contains 5"x5"x.25" wood chips. The wood chips are on solid wood and not veneered strips.
